Our bikinis are made from high-quality Lycra, known for its softness, stretch, and ability to maintain its shape over time.
To keep your Bikiboom pieces beautiful season after season, follow these simple care tips:
After Each Swim
Rinse your bikini immediately after use in cold, fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, and sunscreen residue.
Avoid leaving your swimsuit damp for too long in a bag or towel.
Washing
Do not machine wash: hand washing is always best to preserve the quality of the Lycra.
Gently wash by hand using a mild detergent or delicate fabric soap.
Delicate laundry bag. We’re a little fragile, so if you absolutely must use a machine, select a cold delicate cycle and protect your bikini in a delicate laundry bag.
Never use bleach, stain removers, or fabric softeners — these products can damage the Lycra fibers and dull the colors.
Drying
Do not tumble dry or wring your bikini.
Gently press out excess water, then lay flat to dry in the shade.
Avoid drying in direct sunlight, as it can fade colors and weaken the fabric.
Spa & Pools
Hot tubs and heavily chlorinated pools can alter the color and texture of your bikini.
Save your Bikiboom pieces for the ocean and occasional pool parties, and limit prolonged contact with chlorine.
Extra Care
Avoid contact with rough surfaces (rocks, pool edges, wooden decks) that may snag the fabric.
Avoid contact with sunscreens, oils, and tanning products — they cause stains and discoloration on the fabric.
Store your bikini flat, in a cool, dry place.
Color Note
Each Bikiboom bikini is made from delicate fabrics and quality dyes, chosen for their vibrant colors and silky feel.
However, some tones — especially light, pastel, or bold colors — require a bit of extra care.
Colors may slightly fade or transfer if the swimsuit remains damp for too long, or when exposed to heat, oils, chlorine, or sunscreen.
